Our Story

Ciara Reynolds Design is owned & run by Ciara Reynolds, an architect and Illustrator based in Leitrim and Dublin, Ireland.

Ciara setup Ciara Reynolds Design because she believes in the power of illustration to brighten someone's day or capture a shared memory. In an increasingly fast paced world, she hopes her art and stationery will spread a little joy throughout. 

Ciara studied architecture at Queens University Belfast, the Mackintosh School of Architecture Glasgow and Westminster University, London. Her background as an architect has helped her to develop a unique illustration style and her attention to detail is evident in every piece she creates.

On her return to Ireland in 2014, Ciara began to create bespoke artwork for friends and family from her watercolour and ink illustrations. This has since expanded to include portraits, house/building illustrations, marketing material, wedding stationery and greetings cards. 

In 2021 Ciara relocated to Carrick on Shannon in County Leitrim where she works on her illustrations on a part-time basis. 

Drawing inspiration from architecture, nature and travel, Ciara's whimsical illustrations aim to capture the beauty of the world around her, and are both nostalgic and timeless.
